If your custom reports are splitting across multiple pages, please try these troubleshooting tips:
| What triggers it | What happens |
| Report has more than 10 columns | Columns are grouped into sets of 8, and each group prints as its own page (with all rows repeated) |
| Report has 10 or fewer columns | Usually fits on one page, no split |
| A column contains very long text (e.g. a long note or description, over ~300 characters) | Forces the 8-per-page grouping even if there aren't many columns |
| A page ends up with 6+ columns in a group | Columns get narrower, and font size may shrink slightly |
Things to bear in mind:
- Fewer columns or shorter notes = fewer pages. If a client wants a single-page PDF, suggest removing some columns from the report or shortening long note/description fields.
- The column order in the report builder determines which columns appear together on the same page.
