The Jobs Kanban Board provides a powerful, visual way to manage your jobs in WorkflowMax. Use it to track job progress, update statuses, and collaborate with your team in real time.
Accessing the Kanban Board
In the menu, select > Board
Understanding the board layout
- Columns: Each column represents a job status (for example, In Progress, Completed). The column header shows the status name and a colour indicator.
- Job cards: Each job appears as a card in its current status column. Cards show key job details; you can customise which fields appear.
- Column totals: A badge on the column header shows the number of jobs in that status. At the bottom of the column you’ll see the total job estimate for that status.
Customising your board
Use the Display Options button to control how the board looks and which information is shown.
- Job Statuses tile: Drag column headers to reorder statuses to match your workflow.
- Job Details tile: Choose which job fields are displayed on cards (Contact, CO Number, Budget, Category, Client Manager, Job Manager, Custom Fields, and Progress) so the most important info is visible at a glance.
Managing jobs on the board
- Drag and drop: Move job cards between columns to quickly update a job’s status.

Filtering: Use the Filters button to show only the jobs you need. Common filters include:
- Date range (start or due dates)
- Manager or assigned user
- Client
- Custom fields
