Opening the chat
Click the green chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of any page to open the chat widget.
The Home tab
When you open the widget, you'll land on the Home tab. From here you can:
- Ask a question - type your question to start a conversation with MAX AI
- Request a Feature - share ideas or vote on what gets built next
- Academy - access self-paced online courses to get the most out of
- News - browse the latest product updates and announcements
- Knowledge Base - access the WorkflowMAX Help Centre articles
If you've had previous conversations, a Recent message shortcut will also appear here for quick access.
Chatting with MAX AI
MAX AI will answer your question instantly. It's connected to our help centre and can handle most common questions on the spot.
Need to talk to someone? Just provide some details of what you need to talk about and ask MAX AI to connect you with the support team and a ticket will be created for our team to follow up.
You can attach files to your conversation to help illustrate your question or issue. The following file types are supported:
- Images & Media: gif, jpeg, jpg, png, heic, mov, mp4
- Audio: oga, ogg, mp3
- Documents: pdf, txt, dng
You can upload up to 10 files at once, with a 100MB size limit per attachment.
The Messages tab
The Messages tab keeps a history of all your past conversations. You can pick up where you left off or review previous answers at any time.
Widget controls
| Action | How |

| Collapse the widget | Click the ↓ arrow at the bottom of the widget OR Click the ✕ in the top-right corner |
| Expand the conversation window | Inside a conversation, click the ⋯ menu and select Expand window |
| Download transcript | Once a conversation has ended, click the ⋯ menu and select Download transcript |
| Go back to Home or Messages | Click the back arrow at the top of the conversation |
The back arrow returns you to whichever tab you opened the conversation from - Home or Messages.

You can see your tickets, ticket status and ticket responses by logging in to the My Requests support portal.
Our ticketing system runs on a separate platform and as such, the login credentials are different. However, you can set the same password as you use for or use a different one if you prefer.
When logging in for the first time, please sign up here to create your profile. Once set up, you can view your tickets by clicking Profile in the top-right corner and selecting My Activities, or by going directly to your requests page.
