To save an existing job as a job template:
- In the Jobs menu, select Jobs.
- On the Job Manager screen, drill down on the Job number of the job you wish to save as a job template.
- On the job details screen, select Job Actions > Save Job as Template.
- On the New Job Template screen, add or change information about the new template. For more information about each of the fields, see the Data fields reference section below.
- Save. A new job template is created, based on the job you selected. The job details screen is displayed.
- Review the new template and make any additional changes you require. For details, see Edit a Job Template.

Job Category | A job category Job categories are primarily a way to group various types of jobs (or tracking categories in Xero) together for reporting and viewing purposes.
