Edit the details of a contact
- In the main menu, select Clients > Contacts. Contacts are listed for all clients.
- Drill down on the name of the contact you wish to edit.

On the contact details screen, edit the information about the contact, as required. For more information about the fields, see the data fields reference below.
Typical examples are included in the following table from First Name onwards.

(optional) Edit the client details for the contact. You must select one or more clients.
Field Description Client The name of the client to whom the contact is being added. Position The position or job role that the contact has in the client organisation. Is Primary Contact The primary contact is effectively the default contact for the client. Whenever needs to use the client and contact fields, it will select this contact, as opposed to any additional (non-primary) contacts. The primary contact appears first in the list of contacts on the client details screen.
When you send an email, the contact that is set as the primary contact will be automatically added in the 'To' field of the email screen.
Include in Emails The contact is automatically added to the 'CC' field when sending an email. - (optional) To add the contact to another client, click + Add Contact to Another Client and repeat Step 4.
- Save your changes.
Archive a contact
- In the main menu, select Clients > Contacts.
- On the Contacts screen, drill into the contact you want to archive. You can use the search box or browse the list.
- Click the Archive button Confirm the action when prompted. The contact will be moved to the Archived tab and will no longer appear in the Active list.
- To view archived contacts, click the Archived tab on the Contacts screen.
Delete a contact
- Open the contact record you want to delete (Clients > Contacts, then click the contact name).
- At the bottom-left of the contact details screen click the Delete button.
- A confirmation dialog will appear showing how many clients the contact will be removed from.
- Choose Cancel to keep the contact, or choose Delete to permanently remove it.
- After deletion the contact is removed from all selected client records and will no longer appear in Active or Archived contact lists.
If you only want to hide the contact, archive it instead of deleting.
