Use these instructions to delete documents from when there is no document management system (DMS) enabled.
Once deleted, a document cannot be recovered, so please ensure that you delete only those documents that are no longer required.
If a DMS is enabled, use the instructions: Delete a document (with DMS enabled).
To delete a document from the Documents tab:
- Open the Documents tab.

Jobs
- Select Jobs > Jobs.
- Drill down on the job number of the job you wish to work with.
- Select the Documents tab.

Clients
- Select Clients.
- Drill down on the name of the client you wish to work with.
- Select the Documents tab.

Quotes or estimates
- Select Business > Quotes.
- On the All Quotes tab, drill down on the number of the quote or estimate you wish to work with.
- Select the Documents tab.

Suppliers
- Select Business > Suppliers.
- Drill down on the name of the supplier you wish to work with.
- Select the Documents tab.

Leads
- Select Business > Leads.
- On the All Leads tab, drill down on the name of the lead you wish to work with.
- Select the Documents tab.

On the Documents tab, you can delete a document in two ways.
- Click the Delete icon
(at right) for each document you wish to delete, and confirm deletion.
- Select the checkbox to the left of the name of each document you wish to delete. Click Delete and confirm deletion.
- Click the Delete icon
