Create a lead template
To create a lead template A Lead template allows you to identify pre-defined activities that need to be carried out as you progress each lead. Each lead template can specify the activities for a lead relating to a specific type of work. Using pre-defined activities results in each prospect moving through a consistent sales process – leaving nothing to chance. :
- On the toolbar click the Settings
icon.
- On the General Settings tab, make sure that the Lead Settings section is selected.
- On the Lead Settings screen, make sure that the Lead Template tile is selected.
- Click the + Create New Lead Template button.
- On the Add Lead Template dialog, fill in the lead template details. For more information about each field, see the Data fields reference section below.
- Save your changes.
- If required, Add an activity to a lead template.
Edit a lead template
To edit a lead template:
- On the toolbar click the Settings
icon.
- On the General Settings tab, make sure that the Lead Settings section is selected.
- On the Lead Settings screen, make sure that the Lead Template tile is selected.
- Drill down on the name of the lead template you wish to edit.
- On the Edit Lead Template screen, update the information, as required. For more information about each field, see the Data fields reference section below.
