Use notifications uses notifications as a way of informing selected people when certain job-related events occur. You can set up several copies of the job status notification, so that the notification is triggered when the job status changes to On Hold or Completed, for example.
To add a notification to a job status change:
- On the toolbar click the Settings
icon.
- Select Notifications > Custom Notifications.
- In the Notification Type drop-down list, select Job Status Change.
- Click + Create New Custom Notification.
- In the Job Status drop-down list, select a specific job status that you wish to trigger the notification, or leave as Any if you wish to trigger the notification on any job status change.
- Specify whom to notify. You can select:
- a team to notify staff members who are not assigned to the job
- staff assigned to the job
- the job manager.
- (optional) Activate the notification by toggling the Job Status Change switch to ON

- Save your changes.
- If required, repeat Steps 4–8 to create notifications for other job statuses.
