Before you begin
You can add a noteNotes can be stored directly against clients, jobs and job tasks, leads, quotes or estimates, or suppliers, so you no longer have to hunt around for sticky notes or scrap pieces of paper. Everyone who can see the client, job, job task, lead, quote or estimate, or supplier will be able to see the notes against it, streamlining collaboration within your team. to a lead only if you have the Financial Privileges > Lead Management privilege selected.
Add a note
To add a note manually to a lead:
- In the Business menu, select Leads.
- On the Lead Manager screen, make sure the All Leads tab is selected.
- Drill down on the name of the lead that you wish to add the note to.
- On the Notes tab, click + Create Note.
- In the New Note dialog, provide a title for the note and type the note.
- Save to add the note to the lead history.
Edit a note
To edit the text of a lead note:
- In the Business menu, select Leads.
- On the Lead Manager screen, make sure the All Leads tab is selected.
- Drill down on the name of the lead that you wish to edit.
- On the Notes tab, drill down on the title of the note you wish to edit.
- In the Edit Note dialog, edit the note, as required.
- Save your changes.
