You can add optional cost items to a draft quote or estimate to provide the customer with more flexible job costing. When the customer accepts the quote or estimate, they can choose which optional cost items to include in the job.
Add a new optional cost
To add a new optional cost to a quote or estimate, toggle its Optional switch to ON as you follow the add instructions in the article Add or edit costs on a quote or estimate.
