You can add activities Activities are tasks or to-do items that you can add to a lead. They can act as reminders to ensure that you (or another staff member) fully progress the lead within a set time (such as following up with the client). to lead A lead is a possible sale opportunity for a prospective client or an existing client. templates to provide a standardised list of to-do items, which helps ensure that leads are always processed in the same way.
To add an activity to a lead template:
- If required, open the Edit Lead Template screen:
- On the toolbar click the Settings
icon.
- On the General tab, make sure that the Lead Settings section is selected.
- On the Lead Settings screen, make sure that the Lead Template tile is selected.
- Drill down on the name of the lead template you wish to edit.
- On the toolbar click the Settings
- On the Editing Lead Template screen, click + New Activity.
- On the Add New Activity dialog, fill in the activity details. For more information about each field, see the Data fields reference section below.
- Save your changes. The activity is added to the lead template's activity list (activities are listed in due-date order).
