Client Groups

The client groups feature is available for WorkflowMax Premium accounts only.

Using the Client Groups feature it is possible to group a series of clients together to view all of their jobs, invoices and quotes in one central view.

Working with client groups

Creating a client group

To create a new client group:

  1. In the main menu, select Clients.
  2. On the Groups tab, select New Group.
  3. In the New Group dialog, specify the Group Name.
  4. Save your changes.

Adding a client to a client group

To add a client to a client group:

  1. In the main menu, select Clients.
  2. On the Clients tab, drill down on the client name.
  3. On the client information screen, Groups section, select + Add to Group.
  4. Select one or more groups to add the client to.
  5. Add the client to the selected group (or groups).

Editing a group

To edit a client group:

  1. In the main menu, select Clients.
  2. On the Groups tab, drill down on the group name.
  3. Select Options > Edit.
  4. Change the group name or taxable status, as required.
  5. Save your changes.

Deleting a group

To delete a client group:

  1. In the main menu, select Clients.
  2. On the Groups tab, select one or more client groups to delete. The Delete button becomes active.
  3. Select Delete. The selected group (or groups) are deleted. The client records will not be deleted, however the group will be deleted and the clients will no longer be linked to the group.

Removing a client from a group

To remove a client from a group:

  1. In the main menu, select Clients.
  2. On the Groups tab, drill down on the name of the group that the client is a member of.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the name of the client you wish to remove from the group. The Remove from Group button becomes active.
  4. Select Remove from Group and confirm. The client will no longer be a member of that group.
