Deleting a Task from a Job

To delete a taskTasks are the labour components of a job - the activities that staff perform as they work to complete the job. Time can be recorded against specific tasks, and those tasks will display as line items on the invoice. A job must include at least one task if time is to be recorded against that job. from a job:

  1. In the Jobs menu, select Jobs.
  2. On the Job Manager screen, drill down on the job number of the job that contains the task you wish to delete.
  3. On the job detail screen, Tasks section, select the delete button () for the task you wish to delete and confirm deletion.

    The task cannot be deleted if time sheets have been allocated or if the task has been invoiced.

    The task is not removed from other jobs or from the tasks database in Business > Settings > Tasks.
